Soccer!!!

Howdy everybody!!! Guess what! The 2005 West Jefferson Spring Soccer Season is almost here!!! And the new field is GREAT!!! My dad and I went down to the field when there were the first thoughts about moving. Since we weren't officially West Jefferson Soccer yet, my dad and I couldn't walk on the field though. And it is a great field. Big too. I can't wait to run around with a soccer ball on it! But there is some bad news. There aren't as many weeks of sign-up as there usually are, so if you aren't signed up yet you need to get over there and sign up!

Well, I reckon that's about all that I've got to say, so, good-bye!

P.S. Allison, I'll have you know that I'm not a Walker county boy! Lol! I'm a Blount county boy!!! And proud of it!

Finally getting to post!

Hey everybody!

Sorry I haven't posted in a while! I have been BUSY! This weekend, I went to a leadership retreat with the 4-H program which was awesome! I got to go to some woekshops, do a climbing wall, get stuck in a tire on the low ropes course, and a lot of other things. Yes, I really did get stuck in a tire. I was trying to climb through about 7 tires that were suspended by ropes. I got through about 4 of them and got stuck on number 5. So I had to back out of all of the tires that I had gone through so far. But it was still fun! I even got to see Shrek 2! (Again!) But after that, I got to go to zoology class on Monday! This time, I got to have my picture taken while I was sitting on a llama! And after that, I got to have my picture taken with a Jersy cow, a horse, and I think a Scottish Highland. And I have been doing other things before the leadership retreat and between that and zoology class. I reckon that's about all that I have to say. I just needed to share all of my "experiences" with someone. And that would pretty much be all of you who are gracious enough to read this poor excuse for a blog! Thanks!

Later!

P.S. Thanks Mrs. Kim for posting on my blog! It really means a lot!

Great (Leastways for me!) News!!!

Howdy everyone! Sorry I haven't written in a while. I have been BUSY! But anywho, back to my news! I got to go to zoology class yesterday! First, I had the "privilege" cleaning tack for a while. Some kids chose to clean bridles and reins, but not me. I had to be an idiot and choose to clean TWO saddles! One was a kid's saddle but the other one was a full size saddle and it was filthy! After that, I, once again, had the "privilege" of cleaning out a stall where a horse had been the previous night. Yay. *_* Fun, fun, fun! Then, I got to see a three-legged chicken!!! Yet another example of how pathetic my "life" is. My highlight of the week was getting to see a three-legged chicken. (Just another (pathetic) day in the (pitiful attempt at a) life of The Half-Man!) But after that, came the best part, (Uh-oh. Not another "half" of a great experience! [Get it? "Half," my name Half-Pint? Haha? Maybe? Perhaps a pity laugh? Ok, I'll stop now]) everyone got to pick their favorite animal on the farm since it was Valentine's day. Once you knew your animal, you could have your picture taken with you beside it. So everyone else picked their animal right away. I however, didn't know all of the different animals so I was at a disadvantage. But it turned out okay because as the group was walking around, the teacher told me some of the different animals that there were. So I picked the water buffalo!!! So then, I went up the hill with the teacher and one of her daughters, and we found the water buffalo. And I actually got to go up and PET IT!!!!!! I thought after that, that I was just going to stand beside it and have my picture taken. But no! I actually got to SIT ON THE BACK OF THE WATER BUFFALO!!!!!!! Then, since there were two buffalos, I got to sit on the other one's head!!! That was soooooooo COOOOOOOOOOOOL!!!!!!!!!! But I had to leave right after that. But that was ok, because I got to sit on the back of a WATER BUFFALO!!! (I guess you can kinda tell that I'm sorta psyched about this!!!) So that was my good news. And that time has come again. I must leave you now. But please don't start cheering!! PLEASE!!! I just can't take this kind of rejection! (Quote from Rex in "Toy Story 1") But I shall blog again soon (Hopefully)! Farewell!

P.S. Please pray for me tomorrow! I have to compete in another speech competition!

P.P.S. Keep praying for the sickness in my family to go away!

P.P.P.S. Thanks for commenting Allison! And just to let you know, I resent being called a "Jasper boy"! :-) I'll have you know that I'm a "Corner-Boy"!!! :-) lol! See Ya!

I'm So Sorry :-(

Hey everybody! Sorry I haven't posted in a while! I've had a busy attempt at life. I mean, my highlight of the week was getting to watch old soccer tapes of my brother and me. How pathetic is that!!! But anyway, I had school pictures this week! There is only one problem. I look worse in pictures than I do in real life! I mean, my mom has to tie a piece of meat to my neck to keep my dogs from running away when they see me! I have to sneak up on a glass of water just to get a drink from it! That is sad :-( But that's my lot in life. (Yes, it's coming!) It's not a lot, but it's a life. (Hey, I warned you!) But aside from being chased out of the picture building, I've had a hectic week. It's funny how I can have a hectic week, when I don't even have a life! But this weekend was fun! I went to a seminar Friday night and all day Saturday. It was about what to do after ______. (High school, college, etc.) It was very interesting. I learned that my personality color is grellow or yeen, whichever you prefer (An exact tie in "scores" between yellow and green!). I am a fun-loving server whose motto is "Trust me, it'll be alright" and my life goal is peace. Not peace as in peace and quiet, peace as in stop fighting people! I also learned that my spiritual gift is that I am an exhorting server. (Once again, an exact tie between "scores") I also got to sing two special songs: one with my dad, mom, and brother, and the other with a bunch of other kids around my age and younger. I almost got to sing three songs, but they said that I would scare everyone away because of my looks. No, we didn't have enough time to practice it. Although, I haven't ruled out the 1st possibility! But guess what. It's that time again. You've wasted another perfectly good five or ten minutes reading this blog made by me, the Lord of All Things Good and Ugly, Pitiful, Pathetic, or Otherwise Useless in Normal People's Lives (Which I also lack!) But thank you for putting little ol' me into some small part of your day.
Later!

P.S. Please continue to pray for the sickness in my family to go AWAY!!! And just pray for my family in general. Thanks!
P.P.S. Welcome to the band of bloggers, Mary! (Of which I am the lamest! And I'm still proud of that fact, no life and all!)

MY DEEPEST APOLOGIES (YEAH, RIGHT!)

Hey, everybody!

As the title of this post says, I am here to apologize for not posting for so long! My pitiful excuse for an attempt at a life has been pretty hectic lately! I went to a friend's birthday party, and that was fun despite the fact that I got called "Bubble-boy"! (Thanks Hannah for inviting us! {Luke and me!})
Anyway, after that, I got to go to a superbowl party which was great! There were animals, good friends, GOOD food, oh, yeah, and the superbowl. I'm not much of a fan of watching sports, only playing them! (Except for basketball which is a terrible game to play and watch!)
After that, I got to go to my ZOOLOGY CLASS AGAIN!!!!!! Only this time, we didn't get to ride horses. This time, we got to trim goats' feet, cut the hair around their tails, give them their medicine (for worms, I think), and watch an "operation" take place. I'll save you the details on that one!!!
Then that afternoon, I got to go and say my speech at the county contest for 4-H. (Thanks for all of your prayers, they helped!) I got 1st place in the senior informative category. Wow. A speech is the highlight of my pathetic life. Yay. But at least I get to go to the district competition. Only now, I'm memorizing another speech for this coming Wednesday. Not tomorrow, but a week from tomorrow.
Oh, and etiquette class got canceled last week and is re-scheduled for this week.
WARNING: THE AUTHOR OF THIS BLOG IS ABOUT TO MAKE A VERY VERY LOUD NOISE (BUT NOT LIKE THE ONE HE MADE IN THIS PAST SOCCER SEASON!) OWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!
I had to go to the orthodontist today and my mouth HURTS!!! But complaining won't do me any good, so why do it?
And now for your almost regular LOTR update if you really want to hear it. I am finished with The Fellowship Of The Ring and have started The Two Towers! I am really learning a lot of new stuff by doing this! If any of you people out there who are willing to read this pathetic excuse for a blog, I would definitely recommend reading these books, especially if you have already seen the movie. Although I commend Peter Jackson for taking on such a HUGE task, he really changed a lot of things that needed to be left the way they were in the book! But the movies are still great to watch!
And now, that time has come once again! It is time for me to go out and try to piece together some kind of a life. Farewell!
P.S. Please keep praying for my family about the sickness thing and for me and my brother Luke a week from tomorrow at our speeches!

HELLO BLOGGERS-OF-AMERICA!!!

Sup 'erbody? Not much goin' on here. I went to my 4-H meeting today (Awsome). But on the way I found out that etiquitte class was cancled (YAY!!! I mean, oh shucks). But 4-H was still fun. And this brings us (or really me) closer to the day that I might get to ride horses! And that great and wonderful day is Monday! It's one of the most exhilirating (sorry, I'm not sure how to spell that!) experiences of a kid's (mine) life. I think that I will sign off now, as much as it will break your heart. Oh, one other thing. I just found out today (even though I have liked it for a long time, I realized my love of it today) that I LOVE it when a song has a key (no, not for a door!) change!!! As weird as it sounds, I love it when a song does that! Just another tidbit of Half-Pint trivia. One of those things that will save your life someday! (Not really, but I just like to think that!) Anyway, I gotta go! Later

P.S. Please keep praying for my family on the sickness thing and my brother and me about Monday night! Thanks!

I'm drawing a blank...

Hello WEIRDSVILLE!!! I'm afraid that I don't have much to say tonight. I was kinda bored this afternoon and wanted to post then but my brother was on his blog, and then we went to church. But that's okay, because I get to post now! I do have a correction, though. In my last post, I asked you bloggers to pray for me tomorrow because I thought that I was going to be in a competition against my brother and possibly other people. But I stand, or really I sit, corrected. I don't have to compete tomorrow, but I will have to nonetheless. So I still ask you to pray for me about that competition and on Monday. I know that I will be competing that night after I go to my zoology class early in the afternoon!!! And I think that I mentioned it in an earlier post but I LOVE MY ZOOLOGY CLASS!!!!! And now, dear friends, it is time. No, not like in "The Lion King" with the crazy baboon. It is time for me to say good-bye. I know that it is breaking your heart, but, all good (and insane) things must come to an end. So this is the end. But only of this post!
See Ya!
Half-Pint
P.S. PLEASE pray for my family! Sickness has struck again!
P.P.S. If you read this blog, please comment. If you like it, say so. If you don't like it, still say so. And if you don't, please tell me why. Let me know what you would like for me to start doing or to stop doing. This is a blog that was created not by the people, not of the people, but FOR the people! So tell me what ya think!

Bad Tidings of Not-So-Great-News

Da-da-da-daaaaaaaa! (That's good-guy superhero music!) I'm back! Do not be frightend, it is only little (Ha!), ol' (Double ha!), harmeless (Yeah, right!), me! Guess what. I went to a basketball game tonight! The Corner Yellow Jackets versus the Walker Vikings. And me going is surprising since I hate watching basketball. And playing it is almost as bad! But I had a good time with my brother, my dad, and two other friends. The only problem was that Corner lost. In JV boys, varsity girls, and varsity boys. Bummer. And it was the last game of the season, so. I'm kinda sad, but not really. Anyways, as I told you in a previous post, I am going to have a great rest of the week. And did I mention that I got to ride a horse Monday? I think I did. But I guess I just said it again! I'm afraid that I don't have much to say tonight. I do have one request of all you bloggers though. I would like for everyone who reads this here blog to pray for me this Thursday. (2/03/05) I will be competing in the dairy poster competition at my 4-H club. The only person that I know I will be competing with is my brother, Luke. And I ask you to pray for him too. And also, the next Monday (I think) we will be giving speeches for 4-H. This time, though, we won't be competing against each other. So other than that, I don't have much so say (Wow! That's a first!) I reckon that if I don't have anythin' else to say, I reckon I'm done, I reckon, I reckon! (I do a lot of reckoning!) I shall post later! Farewell! Good-bye! Adios! Aruv-wa (or however you say that!)! Chow! Adu! (or however you say that one too) See Ya! Later! So Long!(I hate long good-bye's don't you?) I'll shut-up now, and NO, YOU (the reader of this post) ARE NOT FREE TO CHEER NOW!!!!!!!
Bye!

Good News (at least for me!)!

HOWDY EVERYONE!!! What's hapnin'? Well, since you can't say much right at the moment, I'll tell you what I've been up to. I've had a blast since I communicated last. I got to go to church, spend time with my friends, sing in a choir, go to an etiquette class (Hot dog) and, best of all, go to a zoology course I am taking and RIDE A HORSE!!! Which is one of the greatest experiences of this world, other than playing soccer or paintball. Even though I only got to ride one lap around the arena it was still a BLAST! Just gettin' out there, your hair flapping in the breeze (not a hard task for me if you've ever seen my hair!), your jacket swinging like a superhero's cape, the creak of the leather on the saddle, the neighing of the horse, etc. (Am I rambling again? I've got to stop that) If you haven't already guessed, I like riding horses! But other than that I also wached Shrek 2! And then this week, I get to go to a basketball game, a friend's b'day party, and a superbowl party! Crikey! What a week! (For all you Crocodile Hunter fans out there!) I think (a hard task for me!) that I'm gonna have to go. By the way, I also get to go to a 4-H club meeting this week followed by, you guessed it (I guess), Etiquette Class Part 2 (Yay)! But other than that, I don't think (That's a whole lot easier) that I'm doin' much else, other than school. So I'll see all you bloggers later!
Bye!
